Your privacy, plainly

Ice Timer Pro is made by AZOROS PTY LTD in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains the app’s data handling, this website and messages you send to support.

Your app profiles and session history are stored on your device. App-level iCloud sync is not enabled in this version. The app has no online account system, advertising, analytics or cross-app tracking. It does not upload your session history to AZOROS.

Optional Apple services, device backups and information you choose to share are described below. Those can involve data leaving your device.

What the app stores

The app uses on-device storage for:

  • Local profiles, including a name and optional photo, your preferences and goals.
  • Session dates, planned and actual time, optional water temperature, feelings, tags and notes.
  • Progress records and milestones, plus settings such as audio preferences and your safety acknowledgement.

Profile photos come from an image you select with Apple’s photo picker or take using the camera. Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. The app saves a resized profile image locally; it does not upload it.

During a session, the app uses device motion to help decide how to deliver haptics when the phone is held or lying flat. This motion state is handled in memory; the app does not keep a motion history or upload it.

Optional Apple Health

Saving to Apple Health is off by default. If you enable Settings → Apple Health → Save sessions as workouts and grant permission, the app can write a Preparation and Recovery workout with the session’s start and end time. It can also write a water temperature you entered, if you allow that permission.

The app requests write access only. It does not request access to read your Health records. Profile photos, feelings, tags and notes are not included in these Health writes.

You can turn off future saving in the app or change permissions in Apple’s settings. Data already saved to Health remains there until you manage it in Health. Apple’s handling, syncing and backups of Health data depend on your Apple settings and policies.

Siri, notifications & widgets

Siri: App Intents let Apple’s Siri and Shortcuts control the timer. Ice Timer Pro does not record your microphone or operate its own speech-recognition service. Siri’s processing is governed by Apple’s settings and privacy information.

Notifications: With your permission, the app schedules local session cues and exit prompts. These are generated on your device; the app does not use a remote notification server or send marketing notifications.

Live Activities and widgets: The app supplies limited session status and progress to its own widgets and Apple’s system surfaces. Information such as time, session status and a logged temperature may be visible to someone who can see your Lock Screen. A compatible paired Apple Watch may also show time and status in its Smart Stack through Apple’s Live Activity mirroring. You can control these features in your Apple device settings.

Information you choose to share

Exports: You can export session records as a CSV file through Apple’s share sheet. The export may include profile names, dates, durations, temperatures, feelings, tags and notes. You can also share a session image showing its duration, date and any entered water temperature. Your chosen destination controls the resulting copy.

Other apps: If you open an external music app, its own terms and privacy practices apply. Ice Timer Pro does not require a music-service account.

Support: If you email hello@azoros.com.au, AZOROS receives your email address, message and any attachments you send so we can respond. Share only information needed for your request. You can contact us about access to, correction of or deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable requirements.

Test builds: Debug and TestFlight builds may keep local audio diagnostics. These are not automatically uploaded by the app. If you choose to share a diagnostic file, it may include app/build details, event times and audio output information.

Deleting & keeping your data

Local app records remain until you delete them or remove the app’s stored data. To delete local profiles, session history and badges, go to Settings → Data → Delete all data → Delete everything. You can also delete individual sessions or profiles.

This does not delete workouts already saved to Apple Health, original pictures in your photo library, files you exported, correspondence sent to support or copies in device backups. Manage those separately in their respective apps or services. Some device preferences and temporary files are separate from the app’s profile and history deletion.

We do not run an app-level cloud sync service. iOS device backup settings may separately affect whether a backup contains app data.

This website

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Its interactive scene runs in your browser, using animation libraries, fonts and visual assets served with the site. Optional sound is generated in your browser after you turn it on; the website does not record your microphone. Scene controls and animation state are used for the current visit and are not sent to an analytics service.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical requests to deliver and protect the website. That can include an IP address, requested URL and browser information in hosting or security logs. This is separate from the app’s on-device session storage. See Vercel’s privacy information for its handling of hosting data.

Early-access email list

If you sign up, AZOROS PTY LTD stores your email address, consent, the time you joined and the page you joined from. We use this record to send you one email when Ice Timer Pro launches. Nothing else.

The consent checkbox says: “Email me when Ice Timer Pro launches. Nothing else.” Joining is optional. Your address is not used for a general newsletter or promotion of other products, and joining does not promise a particular release date.

Sign-up records are stored on the server in a Neon Postgres database connected through Vercel, in Sydney, Australia. This is separate from the app’s on-device profiles and session history. The sign-up record does not include your app sessions or Apple Health records.

To limit repeated submissions, we also use a short-lived, keyed hash of your IP address and a request count for a 10-minute window. These temporary security records are kept separately from the email list and are removed after expiry when requests are processed; they may remain longer while no requests are being processed. The sign-up table does not store your raw IP address. Vercel may separately process technical request information as described above.

We keep the sign-up record until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. You can withdraw consent or request removal at any time by emailing hello@azoros.com.au. The launch email will also include an unsubscribe option.

The confirmation on this website means your registration was saved. It does not mean an email has already been sent.
